Next week there is a party for a 3rd Birthday. A piñata is promised.

I smile at a jumble of images in my mind.

I see a stick – thwacking the piñata to get at the good you know is inside.

I see my mind asking the same question over and over.  If my question is a piñata…

I am always astonished when small beetle bugs insist on crawling under my feet instead of over and around the obstacle.
Shows dogged spunk – and it tickles – so I am the mountain leveraged and moved.

The stars were already a little bit dull at 4:35 a.m. There were no clouds and no moon this morning. I was pleased to be outside for the first birdcall of the day – it was mockingbird.

The dawn was simple - none of the pale colors could actually be called colors.
